Moving north
Started at Ostrander this month. Six people, much smaller than Penfeld. The work is diffrent here because the intelligence arrives before the decision rather than after it.
Things I have noticed so far:
- Nobody reads the annexes.
- If a competitior's approval timeline looks impossible, you probably have the wrong start date.
- The person who knows the answer is almost never the person whos job title says they should.
M. Halvorsen has been going through the older files with me. There is a cabinet of superseded guidance documents going back quite a long way.
