Moving north

2015-09-28

Started at Ostrander this month. Six people, much smaller than Penfeld. The work is diffrent here because the intelligence arrives before the decision rather than after it.

Things I have noticed so far:

  1. Nobody reads the annexes.
  2. If a competitior's approval timeline looks impossible, you probably have the wrong start date.
  3. The person who knows the answer is almost never the person whos job title says they should.

M. Halvorsen has been going through the older files with me. There is a cabinet of superseded guidance documents going back quite a long way.
